What happens when you apply

  1. Find an opportunity

    Explore our current vacancies and consider which role or working pattern could be right for you. If you cannot see the perfect vacancy, you can still register your interest.

  2. Email your CV or Peopleoo profile

    Send your CV, or your Peopleoo profile, to jobs@horizoncare.org. Please include:

    • The role you are interested in
    • The hours or working pattern you are looking for
    • Your telephone number
    • Any relevant experience or qualifications

  3. An initial conversation

    If your experience and values appear to match an available opportunity, a member of our team will contact you to discuss the role, the service and what you are looking for. This is also your opportunity to ask questions.

  4. Interview and meet the team

    Selected candidates will be invited to an interview. Depending on the role, you may also meet members of the team and some of the people you could be supporting, who may contribute to interviews or informal meet and greets.

  5. Checks and onboarding

    If you are offered a role, we will explain the next steps and complete the relevant pre-employment checks. These may include:

    • Proof of identity and right to work
    • Employment references and history
    • Evidence of relevant qualifications
    • An appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

    Once the checks are complete, we will arrange your start date and induction.
